Left school under a cloud. So thought of becoming a meteorologist.

Ended up becoming a spy/hitman/agent/operative and did that for a while until the incident with a recruitment company and a misunderstanding about bacon boning.

Since then I have basically been an international man of mystery, which is pretty cool but for the fact that I no longer know who I am. Its a mystery you see!

F Bloke is Batman and I am Robin.

One of Maggie's Children. On the dole forever in the early eighties after leaving Uni.

First proper job a part time Sorter and Loader of Parcels for Securicor Parcels.
This became Securicor Omega, then Securicor/DHL, then DHL Logistics, DHL Domestic, Parcelpoint and now Yodel. Went full time eventually, then in the Office, then assistant supervisor, Supervisor and now the Shift Manager.

Nobody in the entire World Manages a Staff as large as I do for such a meagre return. Not complaining though; I know their are worse Jobs out there than mine.

Chemical Process Technician with ICI, now a Logistics Manager for a silicon wafer company.
zzzzzzzzzzz

Labourer for a shop fitting company

Now an account manager for a large IT reseller, so any of u blue IT consultant/IT bods need some pricing for hardware/software drop me a message.

Is shameless advertising frowned upon by bluemoon mods? If so they can pm me as well, this site feels like it could do with a server upgrade sometimes ;)

First worked as an Insurance Clerk. I was 16 and it was an apprentice type thing (I just wanted to earn money and work).
Spent most of my time brewing up and filing.

8 months later I got a job with the Civil Service (the old Unemployment Benefit Office). Loved it.

Still there (but on the job support side now) nearly 30 years later. Couple of promotions over the years but going higher than the grade I am now has never interested me because I like working with the public.

Paperboy when I was about 14.

Only had to deliver about 15 papers so no heavy bags or anything like that but it was a pain in the arse as the route was 1 paper on this street then 2 papers 6 blocks away and so on and so on.

I enjoyed it though as it was time alone to listen to some tunes and walk the earth like the guy from Kung Fu.

1st Part-time: Pizza & Potato Factory (Ashton)

1st Full-time: Trainee web developer for a little web business (folded after about 6 months)

Now a senior software developer for an IT/Software company in Wilmslow.
Can't complain really

1st job was a part time job while at Ashton college,in a very posh gentlemans outfitters in Ashton on Stamford st.
Fortunately for me it was the time when all the lads were into tweed jackets and I cleaned up big time, and did one before I was discovered.
After college started at CIS in the claims department,it was that long ago it had a typing pool, which seemed to take up most of my attention,as for the work "I'm getting the phrase soul destroying".
Now work in Sydney as an OHS adviser to Australia Post,if dogs died out tomorrow I'd be unemployed.

After the disillusionment of wanting first to be a vet, then a radiographer, I ended up as a teacher. It was all just to bide time, before I joined the RAF. Am now working as a full-time musician, but thinking about farming wild sheep.

First job was a test pilot for Airfix.
Now, Im a vegetarian matador. I dodge round a Linda McCartney sausage on a big plate with only a very small red cape for protection. Pays the bills I suppose, but the birds love it. ;O)

Started as an office junior on £39 a week. Thought i was loaded at the time as all of my mates went to college.

Now an accountant
