i think it was the church inn droylsden probably aged 16.my mate came up with a cunning plan to get served.keep your ciggy in your mouth.by the time we had got served tears were streaming down our faces and we were coughing our guts up.his cunning plans didnt stop there.lets sit with these old guys says he.one old guy gets a round in and includes me and cunningly fiendish freind.this is where the plan started to come apart at the seams, the old uns seemed to speed up their drinking and then declared, ok boys its one of your rounds now.cue me and my mate getting all our change out and pooling it together to get their beer in.we had been stitched up.they let us stew for about 10 minutes nursing our pints then bought us both a beer.i cant remember getting home that night.

The Red Lion in Blackley - they were always playing Thin Lizzy on the jukebox - well it was the 1970's first club was the 'disco' at Middleton Civic Centre, I think it was Andy Peebles from Piccadilly Radio as guest DJ - how old am I!

The Bluebell on Moston Lane. The First Club was Henrys near the Odeon in Town.

my first pub was the talbot in stalybridge and my first club was the HAC indie night back in the early 80's, although that was more a live gig. suppose my first real club night was shades in stalybridge or even SIDS, the old indoor sports centre

1st pub was the Brickhouse in Heywood when I were 16, ah the memories. 1st "proper club", was Kinetic in Stoke
