I was at those L7 shows at the Boardwalk and Leeds/Reading.The bass player was actually pretty tasty if I remember rightly.Other bird bands around with them I saw were Babes Toyland and the Lunachicks.

I've got a bit of a thing for the bird in Sonic Youth though from my teenage years it was always Joan Jett.In the words of Lemmy,unfortunately she batted fro the other side.

Went to a gig at Brunel university in '89. She chatted my make up before the gig- he was a freestyle skateboarder, which was pretty underground at the time and she went for 'the look' of someone a bit different. So he could get backstage after she gave him her pass. The gig started about half an hour late because Wendy couldn't get back in past security.

She was another one who needed a wash!
