Some startled looking women on there. I would say, in relative terms, Grace Jones has declined the least, with Lynne-Holly Johnson a close second as they both had such a short distance to fall.

I've often thought it must be much harder for a beautiful woman to age, than it is a good looking man. In this world, for many women, unfortunately, their power derives from their looks. When their looks start to fade, frequently so does what they can get out of this world and what is in it.

Oh that is such a mean thing to do . Looks don't necessarily fade: they change. All of those women are still beautiful.
It's not mean at all. It's a statement of fact. As I always do, I chose my words carefully. For many women, especially in the less liberal, emancipated parts of the world what I said is absolutely true.

I expect many more men 'trade' their wives in for younger models than the other way round. I expect the use of botox and plastic surgery is higher among women than men.

It's a sad fact, in the harsh world we live in, that many women's foundation to their status is based on their looks - you only have to look at BBC newsreaders, male and female, to appreciate the point I am making. Sky Sports News even more so.

I agree that many of those women are still beautiful, but that doesn't mean they can call the shots like they once could. A man can lose his looks and his power in that regard doesn't usually diminish to the same extent.

No, not what you said - the website. Posting a series of pictures of women when they were young, next to pictures decades later, is just mean. They work in a business that trades in youth and beauty. They know they got old. They know they lost their 'power'. Highlighting the change and posting it online just seems unnecessarily spiteful.
Same as the 'look who got fat...' Websites.

Sorry Ammy, misunderstood. Yes, it's not entirely kind. It's always been an unappealing part of the human condition to take an interest in those who are seen as unfortunate, for whatever reason. I expect most of us do it from time to time, sadly.

I personally think women are by far the better looking sex in the first half of life but then appear to age quite a lot. Whereas men just generally have more consistency with their looks and how they age. Makeup must make a big difference.

So; if you bumped into Ms Marlohe (sp?), it'd be a case of "Hello, is it me you're looking for?" then?

Just adding the next Bond girl in SPECTRE to the list.

I've lost my looks too.
