FIVE A SIDE - Need a quick answer

Sorry for the new thread but I need a quick answer from the people who said they'd play.

There's one spot left for a seven a side pitch at Platt Lane on the 18th, time 1pm - 2pm.

Shall I book it?

I'm going to UFC in Birmingham that day n don't really know what time i'm gonna have to set off, i think it starts at 5:30

Including you Tom we have twelve definites. Plus four possibles and four or five regs who haven't replied yet.

We know it changes close to the date but as long as we get twelve as an absolute minimum and up to eighteen we need a bigger pitch.

I'll tell you something, I'm assming the outside 7-a-side pitch is the one squeezed in between the two buildings? That's never a fucking 7-a-side pitch, never in a million fucking years!!! I normally play 8-a-side on a Monday on the indoor pitch, that's just about the right size for 8-a-side, and it's miles bigger than the outside one, at a push you can fit 6-a-side on the outside one, and even then it's a little cramped.

Or even try and book the eight a side pitch that Matty plays on during the week

Nah, stick with the pitch we have mate. People always say they'll be there, and never turn up. And subs are always handy, especially when you've got unfit fatties like VoodooBlue blowing chunks after 15 minutes.

I'd leave it until say the wednesday before and post a final numbers thread.
If you get 16 book the outside 8-a-side job(better for everyone if we're all involved together).

If you get serious numbers i'd fuck it and book the 11-a-side at platt lane and have a 90 minute bluemoon warm up for the next bluewatch game.
