Is it me or have City been chosen less and less than last season so far? ... last year every time City was being picked 2/3 out of 4 and this season it seems it's a 1 off or max 2 every month they announce ... not much picked up outside the bigger games as such. Don't the team's tv revenues get decided on this basis end of the year? I remember us getting more TV ££ than Scum even when they won the title (Mancini's last season) or was it last season more than Chelsea's because we had been picked more times than them for TV. Is this now their way (FA/PL etc etc)'s of hurting our revenues ... or are we not exciting enough?

Either way I'm not complaining, would you rather us be playing 12:45 on a Saturday and 8 on Monday, or a nice 3 o'clock ko?

With the West Ham game at 5.30. Do people think I would able to make the last train back at 9pm?
Any thoughts?

Cheers pb. Think I will booked train tickets today then
If we win you might be struggling - the queue outside Upton Park underground is usually massive and can take more than half an hour to get in the station if the home fans have left early. Last year was the first time we'd lost for a while and the queue wasn't nearly as bad.

I think you are correct and it is more to do with BT than Sky. Seem to be on Sky as often as previously but BT once this season? I blame Michael Owen the boring monotone ****.

Seems like it to me too, 7 3pm Saturday kick offs by Boxing day, don't think we had 7 all last season. After Liverpool, next four weekend games at home are all 3pm (we do have a couple of midweek games).

That's why I said 8pm. Be out of the ground by 7:30 and, as you say, can take half an hour to get on the Tube. That also assumes there's no engineering works on those lines that day. Nothing planned currently.

United 3, Liverpool 2 Chelsea 2, City 2, Spurs 2, Everton 2, Arsenal 2 + CL coverage - only the one team is being promoted more than the rest in that period.

not had many big home games yet. Still got Rags, Both Dippers, Arse and Spuds to visit, so especially as it's early days in the season, not surprised our "expected win" home games are shunted to 3pm.

The Arsenal home game could be significant being the last home game of the season.

Although IMO Arsenal will drop off and we will be lapping up the points (hopefully). Might be the celebration that day ;-)
