Anyone know what's the earliest you can book trains ? Is it 4 weeks before the date ?

The cheapest fares on Virgin are usually available about 8 weeks in advance.

pleased there are no monday night aways as need all my holidays for carling cup and euro aways, can anyone shed any light on which week we will first play in the carling cup this year?? pissed off no home games 3pm saturday til mid november!! that is a joke.. highlight of the first few aways has got to be fulham.. brilliant away day those who are yet to do it. DO IT. on the piss again city

Works out well for me as flying on the 18th.....so watch the first 2 games in Abu Dhabi with the ABU Blues.................!!! No booze on the 19th as it's Ramadam but the dippers game should be fine...........

Go on the trainline.com website and sign up for advance fare alerts. You can put in the destination and date you want and they email you as soon as the cheap advance fares come in (usually 12 weeks before). Got my Stoke tickets for £12.30 return so far.
