Dippers on Boxing Day and I've got the day off work I'm getting wankered :)
Do you normally organise piss ups six months in advance? ;-)
With my shifts I have too.

The derby will be on the Sat at 1245, I was chatting to the BT guy he said they have all the big derbys and that they will only be showing games at 1245 on Saturdays.

Scum's first five fixtures
17 Aug Swansea City A
24 Aug Chelsea H
31 Aug Liverpool A
14 Sep Crystal Palace H
21 Sep Manchester City A

and last five fixtures
12 April Hull City H
19 April Everton A
26 April Norwich City H
3 May Sunderland H
11 May Southampton A

Why do we always get newly promoted clubs in the first few games? Yes, we should still beat them, and usually do, but early season they are always potential banana skins whilst they are still full of hope and optimism before the premier league knocks it out of them.

Cardiff away, first game in the premier league at home, full of optimism, is never going to be easy with their crowd behind them. Would rather get one of the mid table prem teams and play the newly promoted teams further into the league campaign.

Old City then yes, it would be a worry going to teams full of optimism, but this is new City.

Also, give me games against promoted sides in the opening fixtures rather than games v Liverpool and Chelsea any day.
