Fixtures Calendar - 2025/26

I've just seen the games to be covered on the rolling Sky band. Ye Gods every scum game. Ffs some of the matches are against mid table teams and of feck all interest to most objective observers.

In the meantime our game this coming Saturday vs Everton would make good viewing, but instead it's a 3om. I know, I know 3pm on Saturday should really be footy time, but chance of a good match not being screened when it is us continues to bug me.
You’re whinging about playing at home on a Saturday at 3pm?

Just had a look at our fixtures.

We play Sunderland at home and then away some 3 weeks later, a bit weird that!

They always used to have a fixture that happened with until 2008, the first game in Dec and the other about 4/5 games later.

We would have a poor result with Dunne own goal to WBA, and the Monday after the away game would be on sale. It is a throw back the 25&26 Dec double headers they stopped in the 60s.

When are we likely to get the rest of December's tv fixtures, I was hoping to be able to plan Christmas a bit better fully expecting the full months schedule to be announced yesterday ?

They haven’t given a date (surprise surprise) other than “soon”.

Anyone reckon the Brighton game scheduled for Wednesday 7th Jan could be moved I’ll be over for this game, maybe I should have held off booking flights..
It could be.
I think Chelsea will be the 4.30pm Sunday and Brighton will be Wednesday night. Then it is the FA Cup

Hoping the Hammers game remains on a Saturday, ideally an early or 15.00 KO as I leave home 05.30 on Sunday to fly for a holiday over Christmas.
Also needed this to stay on a Saturday at either 12.30 or 3pm, as it enables a long session on the piss that night after the game. Thankfully for once the fixture gods have played a blinder.

Always look forward to that last game before Xmas. Don’t know if Xmas markets will have stopped by then but town likely to be very lively - trains definitely rammed - but it’s a great opportunity for a “full day” :-)

Id avoid the Xmas markets like the plague tbh, unless you enjoy being ripped off. Northern Quarter for us - theres a good 15-20 of us who all sit in the same block who have an Xmas drink up every year so the fixture computer has been kind.
