Fixtures Calendar - 2025/26

That may well be in place but clubs generally don’t announce provisional fixtures publicly if it’s dependent on going out of a cup competition as that gives a perception of negativity. In other words it’s the opposite of the Wolves v Arsenal game which Arsenal made public when still provisional as it was going to happen should they reach the final which is how it panned out.
If it’s happening, we probably won’t be told until a few days after the Newcastle game which would still give everyone the best part of four weeks notice.
Cheers Alfie, good info.

I suspect early March but bear in mind that there may well be a few ifs and buts should we progress to the CL QF, the dates of which won’t be confirmed until after the round of 16 second legs on 17/18 March. Games provisionally scheduled for Sunday may be moved to Saturday if there are CL commitments on the following Tuesday.
Even if we go out of the CL, the Chelsea and Arsenal games may well be impacted if they’re involved.
Sorry if im being a bit thick but i still dont understand how we can play either Madrid, Benfica, Inter or Bodo.....
obviously after this weeks games it will be decided but is their another draw to find out which of those winners plays us?

The draw is this coming Friday (27th).
We will we know our round of 16 opponents following that draw and additionally the entire 'bracket' for the remainder of the tournament will be in place so every club's potential route to the final will be there to see.

Any idea of the dates for the round of sixteen home and away legs and if all goes to plan the dates for quarter finals ?

Calendar on page one of this thread has full info for all potential CL dates.

West Ham away could change:

The below Premier League fixtures are subject to change - dependent on the upcoming draw for the UEFA Champions League knockout stages on Friday 27 February.
- West Ham United v Manchester City - Saturday 14 March, 12:30
- Arsenal v Everton - Sunday 15 March, 14:00

Apparently due to clashes with Spurs, Arsenal will get their game moved back to Saturday.

Don't know what it means for us.

It means, if we’re in the CL on the Wednesday before West Ham, it moves to 2000. If we’re on the Tuesday, it stays at 1230. Helpful for match going fans, as always!
As they won’t let it be a 3 o’clock, why they just don’t move it to 2000 and have done with it, is anyone’s guess.

If we get drawn in the CL ko next round to play on Wed 11th March in the next round then our West Ham game moves to 8pm. If we’re drawn to play Tuesday 10th we stay at 12.30.

As an aside the atmosphere on Saturday at 8pm against Newcastle was different class to the horrendous 12:30 kick off’s we’ve experienced. I detest those early games, I have to leave home at around 10am and the crowd and players seemingly have the same apathy as I do.

I rarely miss home games, just 3 in the past few years but it test’s my patience to get to the early kick off, give me the late match, not even a contest.

Thanks, for an easier game standpoint hopefully we play Tuesday 10th, as I think we'll catch a flatter West Ham at 12:30.

So we know what's going to happen...

If we lose to Newcastle in the cup, I think the Crystal Palace game will be Saturday 4th April...

Probably.

If we win it will be midweek in April. Early to mid April (7th/8th/14th/15th) if we're both out of Europe.

20th/21th April if 1 of us makes the European Quarter Finals and we make the FA Cup Quarter final.

I have just thought of something so radical that the TV won't possibly adopt it. Don't change fixtures when there is a chance that they will have to change again at such short notice. Pick another game that weekend and leave the CL teams to play at 3.00pm on a Saturday. Fans will get two weeks notice on whether the game is 12.30 or 8.00pm which means nobody can book transport, is a hotel needed etc and it's not just for the away fans, West Ham will be impacted as well. Put Palace v Leeds at 12.30 in the first place, solves all these issues.

It’s a bit ironic that we’ve managed to avoid lunchtime games being moved to Saturday evening due to UEFA scheduling with one exception (Newcastle at home in August 2023) until now only to face the possibility of having two in the space of four weeks.
Some clubs have been repeatedly impacted by this. Newcastle is definitely one - last season alone they had three or four away games moved to Saturday 8pm because of opponents’ CL games when they weren’t even involved in Europe themselves.

It’s a long way from China whatever time kick off is.
