Kidd and Platt have done quite a few interviews lately and both come across very well. A good move by the club.

Kidd seems a nice fella but I can help but think of Phil Neil serving under Graham Taylor. I don't know how effective he is at his job, though. Maybe a bit of psycophancy is acceptable in a number 2.

Like most others I can only really speculate as to how he's doin as we don't really see what he does from day to day and what an impact he makes. We don't seem to be doing too badly at the mo, so it doesn't look like he's sabotaging the place! Kidd could have provided Mancini with extra knowledge on the prem but maybe Platt's ability to communicate in italian is helping? Maybe Platt's doing fuck all but our squad is so good that we're doing well anyway? Who knows. At least he doesn't seem to have pushed Kidd out of the way

He's giving the subs their positions at set pieces which will mirror the person they are replacing...
