Not a chance mate. Jose will put us in our place. I have very little confidence in the team right now. Tonight was so inept it was alarming.

Lows and highs are part and parcel of being a Blue. Sunday's a new ballpark and every player should be up for it. Anyone who isn't 100% fired up should be left out, no matter who they are.

P.S. Chelsea were hardly brilliant last night by all accounts. And we owe them one (two in fact) from last year.

mourinho will do exactly the same as last year , pack his midfield , because we still have a better first XI than them , MP wont fall into the same trap , and if we beat chelsea , i bet all the negativity posted on this forum since the bayern game will miraculously disappear .

Can't be the only one who is concerned about our results in the big big games since the turn of the year. We seem incapable of seeing games out for a result where a team really threatens us. I'm looking at;

Chelsea (H) 0-1
Barca (H) 0-2
Arsenal (A) 1-1
Liverpool (A) 2-3
Arsenal (A) 2-2
Bayern (A) 0-1

Other than Liverpool at home we've been pretty poor against the better sides and we seem incapable of seeing games out for a positive result. We're ok when a team is a bit open but we can't handle a bit of adversity

Big concern for me and something that has to change for us to reach that next level, starting on Sunday.

how about Everton away to more or less win the league we didn't do to bad there.

That would still make us flat track bullies as we're miles better than Everton no matter how hard a place it is to go.

Chelsea is ripe for the taking. They've conceded 6 already I think, isn't it? We have a top side in attack and defense. Look for Costa to be ejected.

It was a slow start last season as well.
