Hi folks,

How in gods name do you get rid of fleas ?

So far I have used sprays, bathing the dog in anti flea shampoo, drops and salting all the floors, flea collars, hovering every, washing everything above 50 decrease day and my house is still infested.

Any ideas, I'm at breaking point AAHHHHHHH!!!!!

Take the dog to the vet, and ask for the proper treatment. We take ours every three months for the treatment, and we have not had a single flea on the dog since. I'm not sure of the type or name of the treatment, or even the cost as the wife does all that stuff whilst I'm at work. I think it is administered orally, and it ain't too expensive. Definitely cheaper than all those alternative remedied you have been trying.

Before the treatment, when we returned from holidays, the fleas used to jump on our legs when we walked on carpets in our living room. That no longer happens, which proves that they can no longer survive now they can’t live on the dog.

The dog is a lot happier, and so is the family.

do a michael bentine and turn it to your advantage.

Take your dog to the vet you tight ****. Shop bought flea treatments won't work if you've neglected things for this long.
Any dog should be having regular flea and worming treatments prescribed by a vet and if they're not - I'd suggest getting a goldfish.
Programme Plus for fleas and Drontal for worming, never had a single flea despite years of having dogs.

forget all that shit and get someone in too spray around the whole house. Done in 20 minutes.

Thanks for the advice people.

Machiavelli - such hostility lol, the sister in-law is a veterinary nurse (and a bloody good one) so we have had her take a look at her and we have given our dog the treatment which was prescribed.

I was more asking for the house, but thanks for your input.
