What about those poor sods flying in to Manchester from Dubai who, after 3 aborted landings, ended up in Frankfurt!

Just seen it now on FR24. Frankfurt? Was there nowhere nearer

We would like to apologise; we are unable to issue the travel welfare vouchers before you depart London Gatwick. A welfare voucher will be issued once on-board the coach where you can purchase refreshments on arrival to East Midlands.

I was following these flights at work today. Also picked up on the aborted landing of the Oslo-Manchester, Scandinavian service that just flew straight back to Oslo.

Could of been worse, Could of been on today’s Latam flight Sau Paulo flight to Heathrow,Two aborted landings then diverted to the next closest airport ,Barcelona.
