Flight to China cancelled again!

It's a paperwork issue. Nothing sinister and nothing the club have any control over. All very disappointing really. Will hopefully be resolved with Chinese officials through the night and hopefully leave tomorrow afternoon. They don't fuck around over there and in a previous life we've had people put on house arrest in hotels there guarded by officials due to minor indescrepencies with paperwork. Best to get it sorted before leaving the uk.

Paperwork ? The actual plane/flight hasn't been cleared to land on Chinese soil by the Chinese Aviation Authorities ? If that's an oversight at the other end then someone at the club should have checked weeks in advance the necessary clearance had been obtained with the airline or whoever. At this rate, Mendy will be back from Barcelona in time to travel with the rest of the squad.
 
So is it a case of they've gone to the airport or are we still at base waiting for the call?
 
Walker uploaded a video to his instagram in an indoor pool watching the tennis a few hours ago. So unless theyve left in the last few hours, or they arrived in china early afternoon or the plane is so incredible it has a pool, theyre still here
 
And we thought running out of chips at the Etihad was typical City.

Hope we never visit Nigeria, getting through Customs requires a little more than the correct paperwork.

Despite being told that this was seemingly the responsibility of either the airline or some other party, some “fans” take every opportunity to blame the club.

Would checking the emails help in deciding where the blame lies?
There again we could do the old City thing and laugh at ourselves.
