I went to uni in Sheffield and even the slightest bit of rain meant the roads would have huge puddles on them.
Their drainage system is terrible.
I really don't want to make this political. Yet I can't help but think with it being an election the lack of reporting is to ensure people don't ask questions on why this is occuring.All this flooding measured a 10 second piece in ITN News at Ten.

As other people have put. Major cuts to the environmental agency has a lot to do with this.
If in doubt blame the tories
