Florent Malouda?

Don't worry, I haven't seen him in the Arndale.

What does everybody think to a cheeky bid for Malouda? Move Robbie into a more central free role? And before anybody starts with the Petrov comebacks - I think he's long gone.

Malouda is looking more like a top premiership player everyday and Chelsea look set to offload - especially if the likes of Kaka, Ribery join... Saw an interview with him on BBC a couple of weeks ago saying how he'd settled and him/wife/kids love England and schooling...

As a short term bid, how about Guttierez at Newcastle? I think he's not a bad player & would be a decent squad player. He gets a game on a regular basis in the Argentina side.

We'd get him for less than £5m. I dont know if there are any other realistic left footed targets without Europe & with Hughes.

Malouda looked a world beater under Hiddink and average under Scholari. I'm not convinced Hughes would get the best out of him.

i went to the chelsea v arsenal fa cup semi, freebie!
Malouda looked quality on the left for them, definatly would like us to sign him
good pace, good balls in, tracked back and hes got a decent shot.
