As a short term bid, how about Guttierez at Newcastle? I think he's not a bad player & would be a decent squad player. He gets a game on a regular basis in the Argentina side.
We'd get him for less than £5m. I dont know if there are any other realistic left footed targets without Europe & with Hughes.

Personally I would rather keep Robbie out on the left as that is where he is most effective imo.
