Thing is, 150 million over three players will see us shopping at the level of Nunes and Philips again if we want ‘established’, otherwise it’s unproven rough diamonds for that type of money as the alternative.Probably a case of us needing that money for 2-3 players instead of just 1
If previous windows had gone better and we weren't stuck with disappointing signings like Phillips, Nunes etc., I'm sure we'd still be at the table
Dippers have paid the going rate to stay on top. Can only say fair fucks to them if they pull this off with Frimpong and Kerkhez.
If and when we get back there, we need to really hammer it home and not be so modest or looking at net spend repeatedly.
