Florian Wirtz

Seems to be playing a frame of pocket billiards in that pic? Wrong un - probably get caught flashing kids or dogging in sefton park pre-season. Shifty eyes too.
Very poor standard, announcing him in last seasons kit. Maybe the new one hasn’t fallen off the back of a lorry yet

I'm confused (what do you mean, "nothing new"?); I thought it was only Citeh who spent money?

Wirtz €125m
Frimpong €40m
Kerkez €47m

A total of €212m

Compared to the €130.7m we've spent on the four new players we've brought in.
Don't worry the media will highlight it, bbcsport and sky sports will be getting graphs out for everyone.
It'll be sweet.

It's the "200m" we spent in January as well. That always gets added on as it does for every club......

It means Liverpool did really well to agree 200K wage for Wirtz.

And whatever more bonuses are offered, he is worth it.

So what?

Again if you want to comment on Grealish there is a thread for him somewhere.

And cut the "he's worth it" shit out you don't know how his PL career is going to pan out. You sound like a half and halfer.

The media have made out they don’t spend money since the 90s. Houlier and Benitez spent a fortune and won the shit treble and one lucky CL.

They were the first team in the PL era to spend £1bn and not win the league.

They’re hypocrites. They only have (relative) success today because the Moores bought it for them back in the day. If it wasn’t for that money they would still be in the lower leagues.
When we won the league way back when they were in the second division breaking transfer records thanks to they’re rich owner.
They’re everything they accuse us of and more.

They are the epitome of a plastic club. None of their success is organic, it’s all been purchased.

I hope he flops for them.

Hugely disappointing he’s gone there. £116m doesn’t seem that excessive either, it’s always shit seeing rivals getting players like this, especially as it feels like we could have got him, like Rice last year. Imagine a midfield of Rodri, Rice, Wirtz; we’d have been unbeatable.

However, having said all that, Reijnders, Cherki and Ait-Nouri look to be excellent signings and each improves a position in the starting XI, so we will be better this season plus of course Rodders is back!

Desperately need a top right back though.
