This one is an easy one. Pep‘s always looking for a midfielder. Could be Olmo too. Wirtz arriving would actually tell us that Foden is never going to play through the middle.
why?

I don't see where he fits.
Foden and Alvarez are more or less playing as attacking midfielders as it stands. KDB's coming back mid-season. Hasn't Phil earned the shot to be City's 10? If we miss out on him so be it.
Succession planning for Kev, Florian is the closest player out there to KDB and we'd be stupid not to try and bring him in with Kev being 32 and increasingly injury prone, Foden and Wirtz would be the attacking #8s, Alvarez is wasted thereI don't see where he fits.

Did that ever really happen, lots of Germans play inother leagues and for Germany. He left because he didn't like being left on the bench, think it's as simple as that.I wonder if the German pricks will use the same tricks they used on Sane?
You won't play for the National team unless you're playing in Germany...
Alvarez can revert to covering the strikers position. KDB won't be around forever. Getting older and more injury prone now. Wirtz is the next generation of midfield talent with Foden.I don't see where he fits.

Well, Txiki should respond with "And how it is going in the last few world cups/EURO's ?"I wonder if the German pricks will use the same tricks they used on Sane?
