I think you misunderstood my original point. I'm saying that we've been piss poor in the transfer market for years. And if it wasn't for Pep being our manager then we wouldn't have had anywhere near the success we've had with this group of players

Kane is the wrong side of 30. He doesn't have many years left at the top. Bayern should be targetting his replacement first before Wirtz.

That's exactly the point I'm making. We've signed average Premier League players that somehow, Pep has significantly improved in a way that only he can.

my points still applies pep's a genius when we are winning but boards fault when we're not not that's the board gave him the players to be able to win

Said this on the pitch it went to court as well due to Valverde punching him. Valverde wife was having trouble with her pregnancy and he said this.

But the board haven't given him the players he wanted. He's made do with what he's been given. He wanted Bellingham, he got Nunes. Pep's made these players into players capable of winning things. No one else could do what Pep has done with this squad of players
