I’d say it’s not that he doesn’t want to go to city but maybe a case he wants Bayern more. This is common in football and something the players are used to. And that’s only if you believe reports.

If Leverkusen won’t deal with bayern I’m sure he’d deal with us. Not like we aren’t an appropriate team for him to consider.

This issue will be like Sane (if he comes) That threat of Bayern and going home always looming

Think it's like the Rice thing, we have a slim chance but as soon as Bayern satisfy Leverkeusen then the chance is gone.

True but he also has the option of staying for a year and then Leverkusen pretty much being forced into selling with him going into the last year of his contract.

I even shared that here—but I made it clear that I wouldn’t fully buy into it until I heard the words “Here we go.”

Let’s just spread some joy and quit with the whole “it’s over” drama. We need more sparkle, more hope — that’s all I was trying to bring into this thread, even if I had my little meltdown moments along the way.

BUT I want to wait for the "Here we Go" Transfers are volatile!

I still think we pulled out of the Rice deal because we knew he wanted to stay on London.

City will have a better idea of what Wirtz wants and as much as we want to show how much we want etc. we will also walk away if we know it wont happen. The cabs stance will say a lot for sure.

In my opinion we are still in this.
