Florian Wirtz

Problem is we could bid £200 million and have it accepted but if he wants Bayern if won’t matter but I feel we must be very confident as probably that’s thr reason why we’ve let kdb go .

Sacha seems to have been ahead of this transfer all the way along. He was also ahead of the curve on reindjers so he must be getting info from someone reliable.

Him reporting that were at the point of just needing a green light from writz sounds very positive, also suggesting writz won’t want to upset leverkusan which could push him to us.

There’s been so much bullshit reported today, never known a transfer have an update every half hour!

Exactly. He was the one on Monday who reported that Bayern were offering a salary to Wirtz to price us out of the move, and also said we were still in the race.

A day later, Wirtz or his parents at least were in Manchester.

I wouldn't be surprised if Bayern are the ones leaking the Liverpool story, they seem to be getting desperate. But time will tell.

Sacha overall has been very good city-wise recently. He called Doku, and has said stuff that other sources have confirmed days later in this.

Genuinely asking, as I'm intrigued. Why would Bayern leaking that Liverpool have spoken to Wirtz not City, help them in any way, if Wirtz has actually spoken to City and not Liverpool?

If he were actually going to sign for Bayern, he and his family wouldn’t have flown to Manchester.

Let’s be real…he’s probably already house-hunting here, and you’re out here treating these anti-City journalists like they’re telling the truth.
Mate, he's not visited bayern and they are still in the race. This indicates they are number 1 and anyone else receiving reciprocation to their offers have to go above and beyond to change his mind. Bayern is his preferred destination and always will be. The only chance we have is if we convince him this year is the time to move and bayern refuse to pay up now.

I'm not sure how many high-profile transfer sagas you've genuinely followed, but judging by the way you're reacting to every leak and update, it doesn't come across like you fully grasp how these processes typically unfold. When a player is in high demand, it's perfectly normal for them to explore multiple avenues. This phase is like a courtship—where clubs make their pitches, and the player, alongside their camp, listens, weighs options, and positions themselves to secure the best possible outcome.

Even if the player already has a preference in mind, it’s still common to entertain interest from elsewhere to strengthen negotiating power and maximise their value. That’s just smart business.

In the case of Wirtz, it seems like he and his family are playing that game well—whether it’s sincere exploration or just a formality before ultimately choosing Bayern or CITY (or anyone else), time will tell. These sagas are rarely simple or straightforward. That’s just the nature of football transfers, especially with a player of this calibre.

As I mentioned before, my source is confident that Wirtz will come to CITY, but only Wirtz knows the truth. And while I do trust my source, I’m not blindly sold—I remain cautious because, as with any major transfer, a lot can change. Bayern is a strong pull, and nothing is done until it’s done.

Do not be reactionary and hysterical at every leak and update. Stay measured. If Wirtz chooses CITY and the club handles business decisively, we win big. If not, we pivot, move on to the next target. That’s how a top club operates—measured, strategic, and always prepared for the next step.

These last few minutes have been nothing but a complete circus. I’m not giving any of it the time of day.

The idea that he’s suddenly not coming here?

Not even worth entertaining.

It’s the same old anti-us narrative from the press, trying to downplay everything we’re building.
The guy was literally breathing Manchester air yesterday — and now they want us to believe he has no interest in leaving Germany?

Please. What a joke.

Cut the drama. This story is already written.

He’s coming home.
He’s coming home.
He’s coming.
Florian’s coming home.
I still believe — Pep made the call.
He’s coming home.
You need serious help

Seems unrelated but…this is the journalist who broke the Wirtz news and not Huijsen to Madrid (Romano confirmed it after he did).

So he’s as best as anybody to listen to so far this window.
