I see the club is starting to morph into Trafford United selling dreams to their gullible fans. With all the duds we bought the past 2 years what will change really if we somehow sign Wirtz?

Fail to win vs Bournmouth and you can forget about Wirtz - he aint coming to a team without CL football - not a chance - he has options and he could even wait a year then to go to Bayern if he wanted.

You better hope we play better than yesterady or Bournmouth are beating us and that is the end of the dream Im afraid

If he's watched us in the last two games then there is not a chance he will come here, even for 500k a week and CL football.

That would be normal.
These seem to be taken it to a different level, telling him where he can and cannot go.
I'm not saying that they are at the level of Britney Spears father but I don't recall this level of " parental interest" with other players.
I may be completely wrong.

Yeah so then you go to the b list which I’m guessing would be Eze, Gibbs White etc we don’t get Champions league we could end up with a English attacking midfield
 
I actually don’t think the lack of CL will stop us signing him.
If we’ve had discussions with him, it will have been made clear and if he wanted to join I’m sure a contingency is in place for him to get the money.
And then it’s on him and the others to get us back in.

there is 0 chance he’s asking us or we’re asking him to wait till after next Sunday to decide
 
If Wirtz wants to join us, we'll certainly sign him as Leverkusen won't want to sell to Bayern and b/c we'll offer much more than Bayern can afford.

That said, it's likely that Wirtz ends up signing for Bayern - it seems that he's entertaining offers from other clubs in order to get the best deal possible from Bayern.

Players will come because we treat them properly and give them lots of money and a chance to win trophies.

Only 3/4 clubs can offer that.
