I’d trust Jack Gaughan’s word over plenty of people. He’s got good sources. Bit gutted tbf but to me that sounds nailed on for Bayern now.

Us pulling interest sounds like we have our eyes on someone else and maybe it makes more financial sense to go for them tbf. Actually a bit gutted if that’s the case because that’s a severe lack of ambition on our part. Wirtz is a generational player. Comes along every 10/15 years. Might not get this chance to pull the trigger for a good while if this is the case
