Maybe that’s why City didn’t want to spend half of that budget on Wirtz? Or whatever the rumoured transfer fee is?

Read the full thing I said. We've had a history of sitting on our laurels when we've won titles since 2012. Under Pep, we seemed to have moved away from it until the last few windows when we've brought in average players who don't threaten the first team and this season we've seen the impact of that and now need a huge summer.

I think the reason. Will be Liverpool need prob 2 players as they had the foresight to evolve and strengthen where as wh stayed still and let our players get old and now we need probably half a team to replace and that’s being generous .

He's currently the best right back we've got, although that says a lot about the squad. He's not a full back and was all over the place initially, but was part of a defence that was constantly changing.

He made one mistake on Tuesday, as did Gvardiol, but apart from that played well. He's not full back we should be using but we haven't bought proper fullbacks since Walker and Mendy

I've no idea why we bought him, as he never stood out when playing for Wolves, but that's not his fault. I only judge him on what he's doing for us and he's dug in and is improving. Basically another Zinchenko who isn't top quality in the position, but if he's better than anyone else in that position the issue is with the club, not him.

All this money and this bullshit of we the best run club .And here we are scrapping about of a CL league place .Never mind about last week dog shit show.
