I think that is accepted by most. Liverpool have overtaken us on the field of play and now appear to have moved ahead off the pitch too. It's our job now to buckle down to the task on hand and make sure that this advantage for the dippers is a temporary little arrangement.

Of course. But if we get Cherki we will at first delude ourselves into thinking we have got the better talent, and if they both perform well we will have no issues with it at all. And who knows, maybe Cherki will end up the bigger star? While Wirtz fucks off to Bayern or Madrid.

The one thing I like is that there is no excuses for the scousers anymore. They have been way too comfortable in our shadow picking up the pieces and putting pressure on us while avoiding any scrunity and pressure themselves.
