2 Ryan's and a reindeer for the price of a Florian, I'm happy with what we've done. I cant wait for next season now.

he will most likely leave for Madrid or Munich then.. or the club will have found their replacements and he will stay. I mean that’s how it goes right
 
We will have to see, but from what I saw of Cherki against the rags, where he was absolutely brilliant, at 25% of the price, we have done the better business. Every transfer is a gamble, but if you pay £125m for a player that then does not come off it is a major problem. They have been rinsed, we certainly have not.

I respect and like Grealish and I suppose if the Scousers do a treble with him the team they'll defend him like I do with Grealish, but I do think that signing was an unusual one for us and has made us rethink all future transfers. Very, very hard for a single player to live up to that sort of price in the league we are in.

Can't wait for tomorrow, when Leverkusen open that briefcase and it's full of crisp, freshly ironed reclaimed Asda receipts.

He's a great player. But that's ones hell of a fee. Every game missed should be counted in pounds lost, and if he doesn't win them the league next year there should be a venomous inquisition.

Munich were never paying anything like that in transfer fee or wages. Thats not their style. They usually pick up the next shiny toy in Germany for relatively cheap money, with no competition. Dont think they’ve ever paid more than £35 mil for a player from Germany before.

As soon as the Dippers were in for him and willing to spunk the Coutinho money, it was over for Munich (and us).

So that's Mohammed Salah after getting a lucrative contract and fleecing the dippers, now Wirtz is on mega money...

So much for doing things the "Liverpool Way".

I think Allison is out of contract soon, He will be signing sweet fuck all unless the dippers stump up and put him on what the big earners are on.

Things could go pretty pear shaped fairly quickly.

Bayern tried their usual destabalising tricks early on leaking false stories he was signing for them and that he didn't want to leave Germany.

His parents came out criticising them and it was widely reported that wirtz was unhappy at their tactics and wouldn't consider signing anymore due to this.
