Florian Wirtz

Much happier with our trio in the end. Was gutted at first and worried for the season ahead when it was apparent wirtz wanted to go there instead but our business has been brilliant. Hopefully after the CWC we’ll see departures to make room for some more strengthening

Since we have already done quite wonderful in our transfer I am totally at peace.

Still I am still intrigued what happened those two three days. Was he here and visited us or is it true that he came to check properties near Liverpool.

Did Pep ever talked to him and even the fact why did he rejected Bayern when they have been grooming him and his dad for so many years.

Was it slot or was it fellow German Kloop who pushed him towards Liverpool.
So many intriguing questions!

Think with a lot of Germans liverpool and the myths around them will always trump City and the myths around us. Yes Klopp is a part of that but not the whole thing.

Wirtz will be labelled world class the second he puts the dipper shirt on. Also if he has the skill set to boot the ball 60 yards up the pitch for Salah to chase, then he is definitely world class and be awarded the ballon d'or after every game.

Seriously though looking at that list below from the BBC, consider honours won and the destination clubs really reflects positively on the impact Jack's had for us alongside other signings. Fingers crossed Wirtz does not replicate this.

  1. Neymar (PSG to Barcelona, 2017) £200m
  2. Kylian Mbappe (Monaco to PSG, 2018) £165.7m
  3. Joao Felix (Benfica to Atletico Madrid, 2019) £113m
  4. Enzo Fernandez (Benfica to Chelsea, 2023) £107m
  5. Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid to Barcelona, 2019) £107m
  6. Philippe Coutinho (Liverpool to Barcelona, 2018) £105m
  7. Declan Rice (West Ham to Arsenal, 2023) £105m
  8. Jack Grealish (Aston Villa to Man City, 2021) £100m
  9. Moises Caicedo (Brighton to Chelsea, 2023) £100m

Grealish by far the most successful English based £100m player

Love that Pogba isn't listed because United paid Juve separately and Juve then paid Pogba haha

It's already happening BEFORE he puts it on. Just read the Sly news article by Adam Bate...

I have to say they have strengthened well. How come when we were supposedly after Frimpong we lose out again?

Apparently they are already favourites fir the Champions League and PL already next season. I think PSG might have something to say about that...

I am annoyed already and its still two months to season start....

But Allison has been one of the best keepers in the world for years and this guy might be bobbins
The nature of any replacement. He might be better than Allison too. The reality is they have signed who they felt they needed to.

Great signing for them, we would have loved it if we signed him.
Huge German talent telling Bayern to fuck off is funny as fuck.
Telling us to fuck off, not so much ha

Prefer to have signed the 3 we’ve signed to be honest. I’ve not seen enough of Wirtz to give an opinion to be fair, but to come under that £116m theyre paying for the combined 3 we’ve brought in, I’d rather we did that.

I hope Wirtz is their new Darwin Nunez.
