Just to remind you, it’s not POTM, its Man of the Match, there may well be female officials involved but there’s only Men on the field in Men’s football, don’t fall for the woke nonsense.

You said the following when I stated that Wirtz's achievements were not as good as Phils...

You brought up Wirtz's goals and assists over the last 2 seasons as if they are jaw droppingly amazing. Yet he has less goal involvements over the last 2 seasons than Phil has, even though Phil plays in a tougher league.

You said Wirtz is the only player apart from Salah to have double digit G/A over the last 2 seasons.
Thats not true as Palmer has 15G & 12A from 2024/25 and 27G & 15A from 2023/24.

So, for all the nonsense being spouted about Wirtz, from a contribution point of view he has been exceeded by both Palmer and Foden over the last 2 seasons, despite Foden and Palmer playing in a far tougher league.

Wirtz may well go on to be a great player. He may blossom at Liverpool and we sit here in 10 years time saying hes been amazing. But, as of today, there is nothing to currently suggest hes any better than Foden or Palmer.

It would be churlish to suggest that Wirtz is not a fantastic player, will he make it in the PL? , this remains to be seen. I’m very happy with the business City have done so far and I dare say it’s not done yet …

Cole Palmer got only 8 assist in the league last season. Do you get your facts from willy wonka? I'm talking about league performance. Kdb played 100% better in epl compared to the bundesliga, so comparing both is oxymoron.

Also, Who said anything about foden??? He is good on his own way, but there are not the same player. One plays like isco and the other plays like coutinho. Two different AM. Two different players.

Thats not correct as Palmer also has it. Now you're attempting to move the goalposts and say that does not count as you you actually meant League Performance. It is not an oxymoron as the Premier League is far more difficult than Bundesliga. Thats why Palmers and Fodens stats are more impressive.

You're the one who commented on my post and tried to discredit what I said. You brought up Wirtz's achievements and said they were better than Fodens. It was you who commented. I did not comment on anything you had posted. You have then been incorrect each time you have posted.

I'm 62 and couldn't care less and personally get sick of things that change being called woke whatever that mean. Things change live with it, what's it to anyone, doesn't affect my life.

Why is it silly Player of the match,who's it hurting? I find calling things woke, which is meaningless silly nonsense that pisses me off more than anything except maybe calling people snowflakes.

Is this how the shiny new city fans behave nowadays or are you a fan of another club?

It seems you have a hard on for Wirtz when nobody else gives a shit or really rates him.

Just an observation and purely a personal opinion.
 
On paper it looks like they've made some good signings, but as we all know that means nothing (ask the verminous bastards from swamp). But if Slot can get them playing together in their very first season, and generally doing the business, then he's done well and we will have our work cut out to take the title from them.
But I have my doubts. Slot pretty much inherited Bingo's team, and by putting all their eggs into one basket they cruised to the title - assisted by the most lacklustre seasons we've had under Pep. And also the whole David Coote affair was a huge bonus for them in terms of officials being afraid of treading on toes, and like us the rest of the teams in the league seemed to be afflicted by a monumental dose of lethargy and just couldn't be arsed to put up a fight.

I think they will be there or thereabouts, but it won't be the walkover they have just enjoyed, of that I'm sure.

Why not just ask yourself why it was changed ?
For what earthly reason would they do that? Aside from the reasons I’ve stated that you think are bollocks ..
Disagree by all means but at least think about your response before you write it down…

Whether or not it’s hurting anyone is irrelevant, if you applied this logic to everything else, where would we be..?
