Who cares? - We'd only miss out on them too.
Who is your suggestion?
I think we should hold fire and trust Phil and Bobb to perform next season. Bobb was on the cusp of having his breakthrough season before being hampered by injuries all season. All we need is a couple of players other than Haaland to score and assist 25 goals. Marmoush will certainly provide that, hopefully Foden returns back to form and we’re laughing. Savinho second season and Doku will be wanting to show he can make it at City. Echeverri may also impress Pep. Signing a couple of full backs could also mean we see O’Reilly play further up.
It’s not the end of the world that we aren’t signing Wirtz, but I’m not naive enough to say he won’t improve Liverpool.
Depends -if he looked alright is a bit of a large simplification.....So if Wirtz looked alright but only had 3 goals and 2 assists we'd be interested?
Pedro is more of an 8, I would say. Not sure Olmo is top tier.1st tier
Wirtz
Cole palmer
Pedri
Olmo
Doue
2nd tier
Xavi Simmons
Quedrogo
Guler
Mora
Reyna
Some of them are young and we’d be buying potential over ready made but Bowen is the type of signing we’ve been making too many of in recent years.
Hoping for Foden to be the creative output is very very risky. We need a 10 but yeah it most likely won’t happen. Maybe Echeverri comes through and it better than we expect at his current ageI’d be looking at Rayan Cherki.
But I agree with what others have said, we’ll probably go for 2 CMs (most likely Reijnders and Gibbs-White) and play Foden in the 10.
The entire 2nd tier you listed is not worth going for, for a mix of issues like injury or attitude problems, or quality not high enough.1st tier

What was Lampard by the way, as he's the most similar to Phil.

Your 1st tier has a brittle Olno, and while the rest would elevate us, none of them are realistic.
Reijnders and MGW are pretty much the best realistic options for us.
And perhaps we can see the success of players like Doue and Yamal, as well as O Reilly, to not be so afraid to supplement the squad with our academy every now and then, there is talent there.
He's a magnificent player. Sadly no way he'll be going anywhere.Pedri can play 8 or 10 which would be perfect for us.
I dont want Bowen either. You might be right but give me an academy player or a brittle Olmo over fucking Bowen.
As we should. I’m pleased we are backing Phil whilst he’s having a bad year.We won't buy another 10. We will wait like we did post Kompany and Aguero to get the right man.
I think the club will back Foden to get himself back to his best.
Never get him mate but would love him at city .Arda Guler
I hope you watched more than Writz’s highlights. Yes I know Foden 2023/24 was a dynamite but it would be a big risk to go into the season relying on him. You are only as good as your current form. We have seen players that were called “Next Messi” slip into oblivion.Foden! Been watching Wirtz highlights, Foden is better.
