I've received FM09 and loaded it. It asks for a key code to unlock it and it doesn't effin' work! Call the number given and nothing happens, phone SI Games support and they are busy, so try another number and get an effin' voicemail!

I sorted out the code problem and then the authenticating system said I wasn't online! Also had problems saying my demo has run out but I don't have the demo! SIGames' forum is chock a block with complaints about this...I'm just going to sit back a day or so to see what happens!

Apparently if you authenticate it through Steam then it works ok.

Lucky basterd i actually went out of bought the game and i installed it using steam and passed the autothencation but the bloody game wouldn't run. I then reinstalled it using the softanchor option but i can't get authenication working, its a piss take im telling you.

Two hours latter and i still can't play the fucking game as it authorises in steam but wont play and with softanchor it just wont authorise. So im stuck and it looks like theres loads of people having the same problems, sports interactive need shooting for this as its a complete fuck up.

Looks as if the first patch is out tonight...
The game authentication servers are now live for Football Manager 2009 and the first Football Manager 2009 Patch (9.0.1) is available tonight. This patch fixes a number of compatibility issues with the game and we would encourage people to download it and use with their copy of Football Manager 2009.
We highly advise people to authenticate through the STEAM platform, as with STEAM installed you will get automatic updates, the first of which is already uploaded and ready to go via STEAM.

My bluemoons been fucked up for the past two hours and I still cant get this to work.
I have to downloaded and now im up to the part where im on SoftAnchor and it keeps saying I need to conect with the internet. WTF
Does anybody know whats up with this. Ive been on the FM froum but its just no solution and people moaning.
