FOC Roll Call :-)

Some young chickens on here, masquerading as F O C's
85 years old CB3 . Started in 1962, Kippax for a few years then Platt Lane end . Had a few gap years when the kids were growing up and the violence got bad. returned before Maine Road closed, season ticket holder ever since Etihad opened

This was my late Dad at 85 years old when I took him to Blackpool v Peterborough game, he’d not been too well but that day revitalised him, pictured with one of his heroes Sir Stanley Matthews.

Maybe we need a grading C then OC then FOC with clear boundaries.

I’m not 60 until next year. My parents didn’t do football and weren’t cash rich. I was left to find my own path. but my first season ticket was pre premier league.

anyway I struggle with a bad back, have done for years. so my perspective is that FOC is a state of both mind and healt. Some get there quicker than others.

given the wife often calls me victor (meldrew) I claim early onset FOC

Just turned 64 the other week, first game I can't remember but a vivid memory is the open top bus leaving Wilmslow station with the cup the day after beating Leicester. Never had a season ticket but went home and away from about 74 til mid 80s. Life got in the way and I had stacked up enough court appearances to get told by magistrates I was close to being locked up.
Restarted going again in 2nd division days, thought my club needed me, did most aways that season, not York though.
Recently divorced, so I've gone back to my first love, more interested in the European trips now and get the odd home game when someone kindly supplies a ticket.
