Don’t remember that ever happening.I thought they walked around the pitch around 3/4 time, you always knew there was about 10-15 minutes left? might be wrong on that but I also remember the police band & sometimes the police dog handlers putting on a display before the game (not at the same time obviously)
Not sure, but I’m not the person to ask about fashion or trends.Has he had an accident with his face? What’s happened to his eyebrows? Poor lad. Did he put his face too close to the candles when blowing them out for someone?
;-)
The only reason I remember the police brass band was dad used to love it, didnt happen very often just now & again, same for the police dog training, they used to jump over & go round things, mid 1960s to early 70s?Don’t remember that ever happening.
Unless the dog handling display was outside the Kippax before KO!

Having said all that dad did used to like to get in very early, not kidding we quite often used to be waiting outside for the gates to open to let us in, I would guess around 1 to 1.30?
We did used to go to quite a few Central league games as well around the same time, saw Paul Power start his career as a young lad.
