After scoring he ran into the crowd and I’m sure he took out Pete the badge.
He got taken up the stand for treatment but returned a few minutes later.
At the time it looked quite serious.
Anyone else see it ?

One of the great things about Foden’s goal was the absolute ball watching crap of Fernandes, who completely failed to keep tracking Foden into the box, had no idea where he was until Phil headed it, and then in typical Fernandes fashion, gesticulated with his arms and said some whinging words towards his fellow teammates as though it was their fault, and he was perfect.

Seen that after a replay of the goal, ratface threw his arms in the air and as you mentioned was whining at other players when it was his job to track foden,he may have decent numbers for goals and assists but he has an awful mentality ..

One thing I noticed, and liked, for Foden's goal was Doku's position as he received the ball. He'd come off the wing, and taken up a position between the lines and slightly to the right of middle where he could receive the ball and drive into the area to create mayhem. I think it created problems for their defenders as it negated the doubling up they could do when he's out on the wing. I think he should come off the wing more often.

Phil should take great credit for the goal, as it wasn’t just a simple case of getting his head to the ball and nodding it in.

He had to direct it away from Bayindir, and he was a fair way away from the goal line. It was a brilliant header.

Also, Jérémy deserves a lot of credit for his fabulous cross and for not letting the ball run out for a corner, when that would have been the easy option.

Absolutely, totally expected it to go out for a corner…was surprised to see the ball come back for that header…great goal all round

Winner v Spurs a few years ago and a Goal v Real Madrid in the 4-3 are the ones I remember
Well remembered. A diving header from an Aguero header across the six yard box at the South Stand end of the ground. His first goal for us? Can't for the life of me remember the RM one, though.

His ‘First’ goal for us was in the Carabou cup away at Oxford. Yes, the diving header was the winner a few days after Spurs knocked us out of the CL I recall. He scored the 3rd goal in our 4-3 first leg win v Real Madrid in April 22.

Tell me that you live, eat, sleep and breathe City without telling me that you live, eat, sleep and breathe City.
