foiled at the swamp

maybe now i should step out of the shadows...it was I who got a city scarf round matt buzbys neck at 0530 of the morning of last years derby at the swamp.

I returned at dinnertime for the match and it was gone....but it was not I alone!

This is the truth and took a lot of planning!

I will put my mind to this next enterprise as I feel it deserves a special "touch"

My friends and acquentences will from this moment be known as, " les bleu libertines" no that sounds shit..any ideas on what our clan can be called!?! We will endevour!!

i also got a flag facing the station! (i have pics)It lasted a couple of days, before some hero ripped it down! paul p.m me if you'd like to 'arrange' something, as i have a way to get us very very close to the swamp, with fuck all to do with the security!

If anything, I think we should get our own odometer with the legend "And we're still here!" underneath it, thus negating theirs - possibly with the postscript: "You wouldn't be".

Three or four years without a trophy and the Swamp would be half-empty, never mind 34. We know it; they know it. Who'd bother driving up from Cornwall when there's a chance of losing and no reflected glory to bask in?

If nothing, let them keep it. It's their banner, but it's our cause célèbre. The irony is, of course, lost on the deluded hordes who fill the place. Tear it down and they'll only get their cash-strapped club to erm, "help" them get another.
