winding down in life.
i was, along with maybe a dozen other people were invited to go to city yesterday to try out the new food menus for next season, this is for the outlets inside the ground on the concourses. the improvements are unbelievable, new beer pumps are being installed at the busiest bars(other bars will be added asap)singha beer is no more as the club have a deal in place with heineken.the new food is healthier and far more appetizing, gluten free etc.new staffing levels are in place ready to make getting served easier and quicker with more permanent staff and less agency.
the food itself is great, chicken curry and rice, shepherds pie, soup, and hotpot etc, real burgers, thick and juicy, chicken burgers made from real chicken.hot dogs a foot long with proper onions. menus will change and will sometimes be themed, the sales will be monitored and changed if required. at the Q/A we all asked the usual questions like will we be served quickly and properly, will the food look like it does today etc? well although the club want to stress this is a work in progress they feel its a huge step in the right direction, nothing is written in stone and knowing our owners they will not take mediocre let alone failure.
we are meeting again 4 weeks into the season to throw some feedback at them, please feel free to voice your views on here or pm me at anytime, i want the bluemoon members to have their say and so do the club.
finally the outlets will be open longer before the game, maybe even after, ok they want us to spend our money inside rather than outside of the stadium, i think with the team they are putting together for us to watch and the quality and service at half time they are going about it the right way.

Sounds really good to me. I was just thinking that I have only ever bought one burger in the stadium. If the food was better, and it was easy to get, I would definitely buy food more regularly.

However good it will become it is bound to be overpriced and the people who serve it have always been useless.

I was amazed to read your thread about Gluten free food - many restaurants don't even do that. I didn't really believe the club news about an exchange of seat prices for improved service.
