After they are convicted, name them. Absolutely. Until then, I feel the names should be kept quiet. The investigation and trial need to be totally fair and above board so that either a) the nasty, violent bastard gets put away properly so the public are safer, or b) he is free to get on with his life if he hasn’t done it, because let’s face it, the rozzers have been known to stitch the odd one or two up over the years and the media have done unfounded hatchet jobs as well.
