Football Boots

Worn Joma for the last 2 seasons and will be doing again-great boots.

Nike Boots are worn by cocks and kids- poor quality -style over substance, lucky if you get 6 months out of them

Wow you can actually find a way to piss people off by making a sweeping generalisation about football boots, I mean seriously how is that even possible.

My last pair of Nike boots lasted me a good season and half playing and training on 3G 3 times a week most weeks and I can still play in them now and will have to until I replace them.

CTR 360 are the boots which I swear by now. I have had nearly every boot going including adidas tunits which tore my feet to shreds,
Puma kings good boot
Nike vapours superfly too thin To kick a ball
Adidas adi pure good boot

What made the CTR360s better than the other boots you've tried?

I got some adidas adi5 AstroTurf trainers the other day for 5 a side.

Never bought Nike ones before, my feet are always a bit too fat for Nike ones.

Used to buy cheap umbro ones but got fed up of them needing to be replaced every couple of months.

These new adidas ones are really comfy

I got both the hard ground and the soft ground ones. They are made of some sort of soft leather, kanga lite I think it's called. It is flexible to move around in but strong enough to put your foot through the ball. Make sure you buy the masteri ones though I bought a pair sportsdirect for £50

Clever marketing......as I said these boots are very low quality.

Had the origional f50s ( the ones with the spiderman webbing) they were shite.
Had total 90s. Not as bad but still shite
Predators. Better still but didnt like not being able to "feel" the ball when i kicked it.
Best boots i ever had.
Puma v1.06. Like wearing socks with a sole and studs. Mint.

I paid 20 sheets in the sale and need a new pair. Cant find them now. :(

Thats why I fell out with my Predators when I got some Super Liegras which are so soft you can feel everything and my touch is a lot better in them than the Predators

Preds aint bad when its freezing and your toes are numb. But thats a cloggers boot. Im more of an artist. Prefer a 2mm brush to a roller like. Ha

I got the Nike Tiempo's today, incredibly comfy. Never look any further.

I might just order some an see what they're like. They're certainly seeming the better option to me right now. What's the weight of them like?

Like most footy boots these days, very light. You can't tell the difference between them and the ones that are designed to be light, 'Vapors' I think.
