They could have had art work by Kenny Clements or one of the Whitley brothers (Jim I think), very good artists indeed.
Have no interest in the women’s team so never heard of her

Or David James, another good artist.

In town this morning and got given a leaflet for Manchester International Festival, had a look through and found an event 'Football City, Art United'. Thought it looked interesting, then I read on and saw that there isn't a single representation of a City player, which is probably less of a surprise when you see that Juan Mata is involved.

Personally I think it's really poor, to not include any City figures, given Manchester is famous the world over for two teams, and the number of significant public art works City have had over the years. The festival is meant to celebrate the city of Manchester, but its chosen to ignore the most successful team in the country over the last decade.
