Football Genius Wee Davey sacked! (Page 3)

He will have earnt more in the last 2 years than in about 7 at Everton.

Topped up his pension.

Football evolves so fast now that yesterday's future England manager is tomorrow's dinosaur. Not, as Hodgson shows, that an impediment but you know what I mean.

His next job will probably be in the lower premiership. The one after that in the championship and after that he's gone.

A lot of the Everton fans were fed up of Moyes long before he went to the swamp and wanted a change. For the luvvie Kenwright he was perfect. He kept them in the premier league with a few victories over the top boys now and then, with that undercurrent of promise always there that they would make the breakthrough and make a challenge, all without spending much money. In Martinez he has a slight upgrade. They do a similar job and play better football most of the time.

Having managed Neverton , the rags and abroad I suspect it could be amusing to see where Wee Davey see's his level in terms of the jobs he could go for and where football see's his level. I am guessing there may be a disparity in the two views.

When those two loose cannons at Salford City inevitably get fired for fighting between themselves and everybody else he could do a job there but yep he will see Chelski as his perfect level - as laughably would Brenda !!

Wee Davie and Brenda as a dream ticket at the Kremlin?

That would be hilarious beyond belief!

The master Balague does it again.. reporting this before anyone else. How does he do it!?

You can imagine Moyes finding out he was getting sacked watching Sky last night before the club told him.. poor guy.

Tbh, I never rated Moyes that highly when he was at Everton. This "shoestring budget" stuff, was a myth, he made big money signings, not as many as someone like Chelsea, but when they had to, they did splash the cash. I knew Everton fans who moaned about things he did, and some did ponder on whether they would be better off without him. Reaching the top 4 was a great achievement, considering they lost Rooney in the transfer window, but they didn't reach the group stages, then were hammered by Staeu Bucharest in the UEFA Cup. He was tactically naive, and his record away to the top teams was terrible. However, he did have a job for life at Everton, but I suppose the call of the rags was too much.

I reckon he will end up at Celtic. Deila is under pressure because of their European performances, and winning the League is taken for granted up there, so that might not save him.
