To be honest the whole thing sounds shady as hell to me, on everyone's part. I don't really like it but football is awash with money and all of the the big clubs and governing bodies are complicit. With regards to this though, it sounds like it's UEFA's problem. If they were inconsistent in how they dealt with us and eastern European clubs then that's for them to answer.

All this is doing is raising the hopes of certain teams in red. Just imagine the distraught looks when they find out it is all froth and no substance. It’s the hope that kills.
