A bit difficult after having agreed a "full and final settlement"? And isn't the gist of the criticism of City not that they broke the FFP rules but that they offended the "spirit" (interesting what that is exactly!) of the regs. To be (re-)punished you tend to have to break the law not someone else's idea of its "spirit".

This is a murky world, do we really think EUFA want to open up a can of worms ... It could get very messy. I trust the Man City lawyers are working away in the background.

Some of the bitter stuff being served up in the public domain by so called journalists like John Dillon and Duncan Castle are bordering on defamation. I trust most people are familiar with these two sad excuses for journalists, if not follow them on Twitter and make sure you let them know what you think when they spurt their bitter crap about City, there are clear attempts by these two and others to damage the reputation of the football club, where information is unproven there is possibly a defamation case, I wish the club would make an example of one or two of these twerps but they prefer to do things in a quiet way I suppose.

If i remember correctly` and i am sure some will put it over better` City were 1 of 6 to get accused and our figures say correctly, but in the wording of FFP city had 3 years to fall into compliance and show desire to do so over the 3 years `desire` is not the correct word but i can not remember the correct wording. City were confident they would pass until Gill`s company changed the meaning of the word desire , City then haggled with UEFA not over money but wording and eventually came out with a offset fine, the biggest of the 6 clubs fined i believe? What happened to the fine is the most important point, UEFA gave it away to youth academies , The fear that it was illegal and that they would have to repay it could be hugely embarrassing and costly was too much of a chance, since then City have been working very closely with UEFA out of necessity and benefit .UEFA is very upset with Gill and his vendetta his changing of wording has dragged another 20 clubs into trouble and as Infantino said FFP is there to help not bankrupt clubs,
I do not believe City are the focal point of this attack just an easy or lazy target of what i believe is an attack by the g14 to reports that Arsenal would not get into the new competition but also the massive fall of utd fans world wide Bayerns exposing as a team from an second rate league and PSG`s taking Spain's best player thus exposing the league as not the best place to play football

Publicly no and i will wager privately no as well.

Both UEFA and the PL have FFP rules and i will wager our accounts are scrutinised more than any other club in world football.

Not only did UEFA give us a clean bill of health and return a wedge of the fine they imposed when we were in breach, the PL has found nothing wrong.

This is Bayern Munich and La Liga or should i say Barca and real Madrid throwing their toys out of the pram because not only are they falling behind off the pitch they are falling behind on it as well.

I bet our owners park up at Asda every match day and go shoplifting there after the game. How is that fair? No wonder Bayern Munich are incensed.

Quite amazing how there is never any dirt on German clubs found by these two...ahem German journalists.
