the DoF doesn't sound too promising, you have control over what he does so there's no room for conflict or pressure, should be appointed by the board and have contrasting views to you etc., buy players you occassionally don't want for you etc. Shame.

I'm hoping it's just for contracts.

When you have about 30 staff and their contracts expire in one year, it's a ballache and a half to go through one by one.

I'm hoping the DoF will just be a glorified automation of that process, and others perhaps.

I download FM for the Ipad and im not really impressed, the data seems very basic - like a kids version from the PC version, the transfers are silly and overall its just a bit rubbish ... Plus i was sacked when i got west ham 3rd, c*nts.

Doing a season with blyth spartans who are in the blue square north division. Setup a 4-4-2 tactic to get in teams faces and punt it forward then chase it like a hound. Currently in late february time, top of the league with 70 points and 12 clear of second. I believe we were predicted around 20th.

Will lose alot of players as contracts are short and egos the size of china, started blending in some young players preparing for next season which will be a survival of the fittest season.

Also got a feeder club of plymouth who decided to loan me a 17yr old defender who was injured for first 6 weeks, the swines! Got a 7+ rating in 3 games in league so far :D
