Football Trivia Question of the Day

Michael Brown is a very good shout but he only played 50 times for Spurs and the question was the last three that had made more than 50.

Neil McNab also qualifies but I'm pretty sure Stewart, Allen and Walsh were the last three to do it chronologically.

Not Jimmy Greaves?

Well, it must be David Beckham, right?

Yep.

Ray Wilkins (22 caps, 1984-86), Mark Hately (20 caps, 1984-87), David Beckham (1 cap, 2009 on loan with LA Galaxy) & Luther Blissett (3 caps, 1983-84).

How many of England's 22-man FIFA 1966 World Cup Finals squad were under contract with London clubs?

Peter Bonetti and George Cohen. Add those to the four above. Probably another one or two but I can't think of them.

7 in total.

3 West Ham Moore/Peters/Hurst
1 Chelsea Peter Bonnetti
1 Fulham George Cohen
1 Spurs Jimmy Greaves
1 Arsenal George Eastham

Had to look up the Gooner, that was tough.

Yes, there were seven:

Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst & Martin Peters (all West Ham United), George Cohen (Fulham), Jimmy Greaves (Tottenham Hotspur), Peter Bonetti (Chelsea) and George Eastham (Arsenal).
