I know the violence is not funny, but the picture of the fan with who has got the hose on the coppers and there legging it from him had me in stitches!

Based on the weekends events in this country I find this thread a little tasteless.

I realise it's part of reporting what's going on elsewhere - but this weekend has seen a real togetherness in the football community of this country (one complete knob in Wales excluded).

I have nothing against banter - and my fiance is a Bolton Fan, so there's been plenty of that over the years - but it's a GAME. We won't always see eye to eye but I don't want my daughter to have to see some of things I've seen over the years.

Lets take something positive from the weekend, and realise that we can watch a game together, have a beer and enjoy the experience without decending back to the 70s/80s.

P.S. it's my high horse and I'll sit on it when I bloody want!!!!!!!
