Liverpool's oversize keeper in the 60s, Tommy Lawrence, was nicknamed by the dippers themselves as the Flying Pig and the Green Blur.

Mike Doyle was known as Tommy (his dad's name).

Before his remarkable metamorphosis into a great keeper, the young and error prone Joe Corrigan was known as Cinderella (because he was always late for the ball) and Dracula (because he didn't like crosses).
 
One of the cleverest was Gordon Durie, known as "Jukebox"............think about it.
