watching edin today i felt like we honestly won't struggle without tevez. he looked so comfortable playing in the team and mario looked great.

bye carlos, don't let the door hit you in the arse on your way out mate ;-)

Seemed to have got a bit quicker and looked sharp. I am an old sentimental sod as well but have thought SWP looks almost back to his old best.

They were both oozing class and confidence, I always thought Tevez was taking away more from the team than he was bringing to it. A brand new City for a brand new season, and brand new trophies!

I think Carlos might actually have realised he's messed up a bit. He was key for us last year but now with Dzeko finding his feet, balo looking like he's got his head sorted, well sort of ;) and aguero still yet to even make his debut Carlos is now a thing of the past and were in a position of power.

Whats the odds on us going from a one man team with Tevez to a one man team with aguero in the eyes of the thicko media?

Pre Season games are a nightmare to judge for the coming season on how good a player will do or not. Dzeko will find it hard next season. We need to get the supply spot on when he is playing or we wont get the best out of him. I thought Kolarov wiped in some great crosses today in the first half that any striker would love to attack. I dont know if Dzeko plays we might see Kolarov used for his deliverly into the box.

A special mention to Kolorov and a bigger mention to Milner, never have I seen a player cover so much ground in all my life. Lescott did very well as well, in fact they all did well couple of seasons ago we got stuffed 3-0 by Inter in pre season shows how far we have come.

Every now and then today the ball still bounced off him ,if he sorts that out he is gonna have a great season.
The rest of his play was first class though.
