True, but i've always had the impression that he wants to finish his career here and would take differently structured contract based on appearances etc

No it isn't at all. Not in a one to one conversation.

He's being given the opportunity by the manager, to leave, with full loyalty bonus & everything else, if he wants to.

If he says he would rather go, they will sell him & he will get everything he is supposed to get. If he decides to stay, it will be because he prefers to stay, not because he's telling lies about it.

By Christmas next year Jack will be starting over Yaya, that's my bold prediction. We'll have more than enough creativity in Navas Silva Jovetic and will want more energy in the middle, plus Yaya is too lazy in defence.

It's a bold prediction as it completely ignores Rodwell's appalling injury record.
I'd love to see him go through a season without any knocks or strains as he looks like he has the potential to be a great player, but until he manages it he's the next Claudio Reyna not the next Yaya Toure.
